He was predeceased by: his parent Malcolm Winsor Tanner Sr.; his child Steven Tanner; and his siblings, David, Robert, Faith and Patricia.
He is survived by: his parent Rosanna Mathis; his wife Shirley I.; his former wife Marlene Tanner; his children, Danny Tanner of West Leyden, NY, Charles Tanner, Kim Tanner, Deborah Rocker (Alton), Scott Tanner, Laurie Secor, Sharon Cullings (Joseph), Brian Tanner (Stacy), Tracy Tanner and Jason Tanner (Christine); his stepdaughter Pamela Kinstle; and his siblings, Paul, Alan (Jimmy), Mary Ellen, Sheila and Diane. He is also survived by 33 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
