With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Uwe Paulssen of West Islip, New York, born in Hamburg, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 28, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Elke; his children, Audrey (Carl), Denise and Christopher (Erika); his grandchildren, Carl, Mark, Griffin, Hannah, Jake and Harper; and his great grandchildren, Finn and Wyatt.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. (1225 Montauk Hwy, West Islip, NY 11795). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
