“I was shocked and saddened to hear of Robby's passing. He was the first customer who shopped at my Bay Shore bookstore when I opened in 1978. I still remember that image of him as a 9-year-old boy standing on the sidewalk outside on Opening Day with his brother Tommy, waiting excitedly as I tore the brown paper off my door and windows. He was a loyal customer and a really great friend for many years, We had a lot of fun times in the Bay Shore store and I will sorely miss him. RIP, Rob.....”
