He was predeceased by: his parents, Muriel Brancato and Andy Brancato. He is survived by: his wife Lucy; his daughters, Krista Fehrenbach (Reiner), Laura Brancato and Andrea Breen (Bill); his grandchildren, Ava, Aidan, Mia, Tate, Ethan, Natalie and Moira; and his brother Robert Brancato. He is also survived by brothers and sisters in law, many first cousins, nieces, nephews, colleagues and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations be made in Richard's name to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
