It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael J. Ferrante (West Islip, New York), who passed away on December 27, 2024, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Jerry and Anna. He is survived by: his wife Anna (Stabile); his children, Frances LaFauci (Thomas), Michael Ferrante (Maureen) and David Ferrante (Pamela); and his grandchildren, Jean LaFauci Schutt (Kevin), Kristin Ferrante, Lauren LaFauci (Paul), Patricia Torres (Matthew), Michael Ferrante (Lindsey), Elizabeth Murphy (Timothy), Lizbet Ferrante and Jonathan Ferrante. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. (1225 Montauk Hwy, West Islip, NY 11795). A Mass was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 9:45 AM at the St. Thomas More R. C. Church (115 Kings Hwy, Hauppauge, NY 11788).
