We are sad to announce that on January 26, 2024, George R. Mangels of West Islip, New York, born in Oceanside, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Rob Mangels, Paul Mangels (Liz), John Mangels (Alicia) and Kristin Murphy (Brian); his grandchildren, Paul James, Emma, Ryan, Caroline, Patrick, Ella, Katherine, Maura, Avery and Matthew; his sister Jean Cogan (Peter); his sisters-in-law, Lynda O'Grady and Christine DiGiovanna; his friend George; his family Recently; and his father Tom Poth. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
