He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Konopa and Anna Konopa; and his brother Peter Konopa. He is survived by: his wife Valerie Konopa; his son Kenneth Konopa; his daughter-in-law Allyson Konopa; his daughter Kristin Konopa; his grandchildren, Kaya, Bruce, Koa, Jacob, Lola, Ruth and Hannah; his brother Robert Konopa; and his nephew Jason Konopa.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 14th 2024 at the Chapey Funeral Home (1225 Montauk Hwy, West Islip, NY 11795).
In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to help create a memorial scholarship in his name, at West Babylon Senior High School.
