She was predeceased by: her parents, John D. and Dolores V. Gordon. She is survived by: her husband Richard E. Thaxter, Jr.; her sons, Richard III (Christine (Gollmer)), Michael (Cathrine (Teufel)) and Matthew (Diane (Winthrop)); her grandchildren, Sean, Chastity, Alaina, Cassandra, Steven, Erin, Cara and Andrew; and her siblings, John (Diane (White)), Kathleen Barnes (late Stephen Bekman), Kevin (Maureen (McNamara)), Brian (Annmarie (Tirino)), Eileen (Frank Maffei), Thomas (Carol (Paprocki)) and Timothy (Amy (Kearney)). She is also survived by 19 nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions for Bunny's memory can be made to the Rollstone Foundation, or St. Jude's Hospital.
