As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Chris may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carol; his daughter Olivia; his parents, Patricia DiOrio and Charles; and his siblings, Robert, Brendan (Kathleen), John (Laura) and Deirdre Coneen (Roy). He was also cherished by loving uncle to his 18 nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. (1225 Montauk Hwy, West Islip, NY 11795). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 10:15 AM at the St. Patrick's R. C. Church (9 N Clinton Ave, Bay Shore, NY 11706).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in the form of blood donations.
