It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie S. Sanford of West Hurley, New York, born in Windham, New York, who passed away on January 30, 2022, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Byron Smith and Dora Holcomb Smith; her husband Carl; and her siblings, Billy, Albert, Thomas, Robert, Carl Smith, Vivian Ballou and Marjorie Gossoo.
She is survived by: her niece Nancy Hagopian (Bob) of Kingston; and her great-nephew Jared Port (Alyson). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Ulster Co. SPCA.
