He was predeceased by: his parents, James Horan and Mary Horan. He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his children, Kathleen Schupp (Kenneth) of Kingston, Shannon Manzo (Mitch) of New Paltz and Shaun Horan (Charlotte) of Queen Creek, AZ; his grandchildren, Kaitlin Gage (Chris), Michael Schupp, Nicholas Schupp (Alissa), Patrick, Justin and Sophia Horan; his great grandchild Parker Gage; and his pets, Mackenzie and Maggie.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to the West Hurley Fire Department at P.O. Box 302, West Hurley, NY, 12491 and be noted "in memory of James Horan".
