Van Valkenburgh; his wife Edwina Gardner; his siblings, Patricia Surak of Boiceville, NY, Jeff Van Valkenburgh (Nancy) of New Windsor, NY and Richard Van Valkenburgh of Shokan, NY.; his aunt Jackie Koenig; and his uncles, Michael Douglas and Bob Douglas (Shirley). He was also cherished by Many nieces, nephews and cousins.
