He was predeceased by: his father Donald Merritt. He is survived by: his wife Nancy P. Merritt (Steele); his children, Ashley Rose, A. J. Rose, Andrew Rose and Allissa Merritt; his mother Ronalee Merritt; and his siblings, David Merritt (Katherine) and Donna Merritt (David Wright). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, a large loving extended family and many friends.
