It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Maher of West Haverstraw, New York, born in Haverstraw, New York, who passed away on November 1, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Maher and Molly Maher (Nee Chrichton); his brother William Maher; his sister-in-law Betty Maher; and his siblings, Thomas Maher and Mary Lou Schermerhorn.

He is survived by: his wife Marie (Chi-Chi); his sister-in-law Marylin Maher; his nephews, James Maher and William Maher; his niece Shirley Henion; his children, William and Theresa Ann Walsh; and his friends, Dennis Torregrossa of Haverstraw and Andy Anderson of Florida. He is also survived by children and grandchildren.
