He was predeceased by: his parents, Elisa Gonnella and Vito Gonnella; and his wife Josephine Castellano. He is survived by: his children, Vito Gonnella (Lisa) of Harrison, Joseph (Jeanmarie), Serafino Gonnella of West Harrison and Elise Oppedisano (Michael) of Purchase; his grandchildren, Vito, Cara, Joseph Gonnella, Michelle Puma (John), Joanna, Anthony and Michael Oppedisano; and his great grandchild Giulia Puma.
