She is survived by: her parent Florence Mykel Rood; her children, Laurie A. Goodspeed, Timothy E. Deforest, Susan Schaffer, Jeffrey A. Deforest and David W. Deforest; her grandchildren, Travis P. Deforest, Stephanie M. Registe, Frederick W. Deforest, Cody LaFayette Goodspeed, Connor T. Deforest, Aydin J. Deforest, Katlyn I. Deforest, Audrey E. Deforest, Riley A. Deforest and Jason Sweet; her siblings, Mary Bush (John), Ruthie Turnbull, Edward Rood (Linda) and Mykel Rood (Deb); and her half-sister Betty Ketchum (Walter). She is also survived by numerous nieces nephews.
