With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Erna Hoppenthaler of West Coxsackie, New York, who passed away on March 11, 2008 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Anton Stimitz and Magdalena Stimitz (Greisch); and her husband Josef Hoppenthaler. She is survived by: her daughters, Monica Vasto (Steven), Susan Bishop, Sandra Esposito (Vincent) and Linda Lomascolo (Stephen); and her sisters-in-law, Magdalena Kollmann and Elizabeth Petermann. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942 in memory of Erna Hoppenthaler.
