She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis E. Kellogg and Cyrene Keller Kellogg; her husband Albert F. Childs; her children, Gary Schmidt, Karl Schmidt, Alice Foerster and Lucy Torrey Bowman; and her siblings, Gerald, Dean, Robert Kellogg and Stella Moore Weller.
She is survived by: her sons, Daniel Schmidt (Vicki) of Portville and David Schmidt (Laura) of California; and her sister Pauline Whitcomb of Indian Trail. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial may be made to the West Clarksville Baptist Church.
