He was predeceased by: his parents, Menrell Deno and Margaret Deno (Macey); his adoptive father Irvin LaPier (Blanche); his siblings, Rita Carpenter (John), Elsie Lavigne (Claude), Marion Blain (Gerald) and Lillian Bullen (Francis); his mother-in-law Emma McMannis; and his great grandchild Boone Light.
He is survived by: his wife Agnes LaPier (Oshier); his daughters, Kim Kourosky (Michael Lawler), Beth St. Louis (Michael Taylor), Mary Rabideau (Brian), Paula Smith (Craig) and Leanne Alford (Chris); his grandchildren, Haley Kourofsky, Nisha Duquette (Matthew), Erin Light (Bill), Erik St. Louis, Adam Rabideau, Matthew Rabideau (Valarie Matott), Kasey McCormick, Ryan McCormick, Tyler LaPier (Stefanie), Zoey Smith, Daniel Smith, Nathan Alford and Jack Alford; and his great grandchildren, Charleston, Flynn Duquette and Everleigh LaPier. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to St. Joseph's Church, West Chazy.
