He was predeceased by: his parents, Lars and Minnie; and his siblings, Virgil, Lloyd, Miles, Wayne, Warren and Mabel Bayer.

He is survived by: his child Lars Leonard Stromback (Sweden); his brother Danny (Kathy) of Las Vegas; his children, Randy (Bonnie) of West Chazy and Suzanne (Ron Arellano) of California; his grandchildren, Eric Branchard (Emanuelle), Kyle Branchard, Craig Branchard, Shawn Branchard, Victoria Branchard, Samantha Branchard and Anthony Branchard; his great grandchildren, Miles Samuel Delano Brandström and Daisy Mae Ahrens; his sisters-in-law, Sharon Stromback, Dianna Stromback, Marjorie Poupore (Ronnie), Arlene Sterling (Rodney), Linda Parrott (Donald) and Bobby Manor (Penny); and also, Minnie Grendahl Stromback, Patricia, Carla Ahrens (Mike) of Morrisonville, NY and Cory Stromback of West Chazy.
