“I was saddened to hear of Eli’s death. He was the drama counselor at Tel Yehudah when I was there. He was talented and quite even tempered for someone under that kind of crazy schedule. We would visit him at Columbia and I followed his career by reading his books on Jewish history. I was proud to be able to tell people that I worked with him. I remember him fondly and am sorry for your loss. Leslie Fried Kuperstein”
