It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Eleanor Merrick of Wellsville, New York, born in Rexville, New York, who passed away on February 4, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Maynard Allen and Olive Allen (Amidon). She is survived by: her husband Lee Merrick Jr.; her children, William Merrick of Wellsville, Sandra Merrick of Wellsville, Carol Schweigart (Joseph) of Bolivar and Lisa Rowe (Paul) of Wellsville; and her brother Charles Allen (Susan) of Lima, NY. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren.
