It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Michael Kane (Wellsville, New York), born in Rochester, New York, who passed away on November 25, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Wayne of Wellsville, Georgia Kane of Wellsville, Ellis of Wellsville and Helen Gath of Wellsville. He is survived by: his father Stephen M. Kane (Jenny) of Cuba; his daughter Ella; his mother JoAnne Kane Hutter (Gath) of Wellsville; his brother Thomas Kane (Julie) of Olean; his nieces and nephews, Corey, Cameron and Delilah; his sister Audra Doering (Eric) of East Aurora; his nephew Stephen; and his niece Eloise.

“In loving memory of Richard Michael Kane, Rick and I were roomates for 2 years at UF. I was just talking about him with some other buddies from the dorms just learned of his passing. We had not kept up with Rick in many years and so sad to hear of his passing. Rick has alway an optimist and I’m so glad he led such a full life after over these years. So sad his life was cut short. My prayers go out to his daughter, and family for peace in this so difficult time.”
