It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard J. Rahr (Wellsville, New York), who passed away on February 12, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Rahr and Carmel Rahr (Smith); his wife Donna Magee; and his siblings, Elizabeth "Betty" Earl, Marion "Gus" Moir, Rita Childs and Carl Rahr.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Baker (Rick Moses) of Addison and John Rahr (Melanie) of Horseheads; his grandchildren, Mary "Maggie" Stevens (Shawn Peterson), Teague Baker (Ashley Tostanoski), Meredith Rahr (Stephanie Stewart) and Thomas Rahr; his great grandchildren, Damian, Chevy, Zzyzx, Ivar and Odin; his sister-in-law Dorothy Rahr of Wellsville; and his close friends, Roy and Rosemary Cole of Scio. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
