He was predeceased by: his parents, Adin G. Hurd and Betty Hurd (Ramsell); his brothers, Steve Hurd and Noel Hurd; his granddaughter Cheyanne Wedge; and his friend Dick Harrison.
He is survived by: his wife Janet L. Ryan; his daughters, Kathy Larimer (Paul) of Fla and Jennifer Wedge (Charles) of Bolivar; his siblings, John Hurd of Friendship and Mickie Tidlund (Burt) of Friendship; his grandchildren, Connor Wedge, Hunter Wedge, Madison Wedge, Brian Larimer, Dakota Larimer and Dianna "Red" Larimer; and his friends, Ron, ShareeMcGonigale of Wellsville, Mack, Linda Campbell of Hornell, Alton and Cindy Youngs of Andover. He is also survived by several great grandchildren; his 4 special fur babies;and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
