With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary E. McMurry (Wellsville, New York), born in Saint Marys, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 28, 2022 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James H. McMurray and Rita C. McMurray (Mullaney); her son Nathan McMurray; and her brothers, Mike, Joe and Tom McMurray.
She is survived by: her husband John Samick; her daughters, Sharon Lee of Wellsville, Christy Samick of Wellsville and Rhiannon Babbitt (Robert) of Wellsville; her grandchildren, Brandon M. Nye (Brandon), Jacob T. Nye, Sage T. Bundy, Reese C. Babbitt, Raegan E. Babbitt and Roslyn P. Babbitt; her siblings, Patrick McMurray of Pittsburgh, John McMurray (Paula) of St. Mary's, Margie Lioce of Wellsville and Donald Gilliland of Ellisburg, PA; her nieces, Missy, Michelle and Melanie; her nephew Justin; and her great-niece Cali.
