He was predeceased by: his siblings, Doris Eymer, Myrtle Jackson and Harold "Tink" Rahr; and his children-in-law, Dodie McAhon and Tim Ward.
He is survived by: his spouse Mary L. Eymer; his children, Dollie Ward of Scio and Charles McAhon (Patti Haley) of South Carolina; his brothers, Kenneth Rahr (Patricia) of Hornell and Jack Rahr (Joanie) of Belmont; his sister-in-law Joanne Rahr of Belmont; his daughters, Kim Smith (Randy), Robin McAhon and Brandi Dunn (Ellis); his daughter-in-law Carolyn Costello McAhon of South Carolina; and his friend Ron Tomah (Jan Hungerford). He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren.
Memorials if desired may be made to any of the following, the Hart Comfort House, Allegany County SPCA, the David A. Howe Library, or to the charity of the donor's choice.
