He is survived by: his spouses, Rosemarie Kurth and Patricia Diane Merry; his sisters, Rosel Gruen and Gisela Loebel (Konrad); his nieces, Ulrika Ocasio (Jorge) of Germany, Juta Chiapparini (Niko) of Germany, Anne Merry, Karen Merry, Krista Kline (Josh), Brenna Merry and Kerri McKee; his nephew Detlaf Staroste (Karin); and also, Bill Merry (Fran) of Wellsville, Dave Merry (Sue) of Homer and Witnesses.
