He was predeceased by: his parents, Clair Harris and Pauline Wesche Spicer; his stepmother Margaret Spicer; his brothers, Robert Spicer and Clair Spicer, Jr.; and his parents-in-law, Richard and Alice Billings.
He is survived by: his wife Eloise; his children, Suzanne Neal (Charles) of Wellsville, John Spicer, Jr. of Wellsville and Jennifer Sorochin (Adam) of Wellsville; his grandchildren, Holli, Ben Polselli, Seth, Joshua, Justin Spicer, Kristi Neal, Alvin Leath, Craig Neal (Currie), Scott McMorris (Rachel), Gabrielle Sorochin and Hunter Payne; and his great grandchildren, Vada, Milo Spicer, Nora, Rowan, Milo Leith, Logen and Lydia Neal.
