He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, David McConnell and Luella Cline McConnell; his wife Mary Kemp; his daughter Kim M. Foster of Wellsville; his grandsons, Cory McConnell (Shauna) of Wellsville, Derek Fagan of Wellsville and Levi Fagan (Amber) of Willey Lake, SC.; his great grandchildren, Ashlynn McConnell, Corianna McConnell and Rylan Fagan; his sister Janet Lamphier of Wellsville; his son James D. McConnell; and his sister Carol Winans. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews and his grand dog.
Memorials James's name may be made to the MS Foundation or to the charity of the donor's choice.
