He was predeceased by: his parents, William Burger and Isabel Burger (Wereley); his siblings, Bernard Burger (Rose Mary), Donald Burger, Robert Burger and Jessie Baker (Newell); and his grandson Shawn Wilson.
He is survived by: his husband Edward T. Wilson; his children, Edward Wilson, Jr. (Nancy) of Wellsville, Eric Wilson (Beatrice) of Wellsville, Scott Wilson (Deborah) of Honeoye Falls and Berneata Bargar (Richard) of Latham; his siblings, Janet Appier (James) of Big Flats and Clayton Burger of Clarksville; his sisters-in-law, Kathleen Burger of Big Flats and Marjorie Burger of Hornell; and his niece Constance Belmont (Randall) of Andover. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
