He was predeceased by: his parents, Reginald J. Sootheran and Mildred V. Sootheran (May); and his siblings, Beatrice Joan Lester and John Edward Sootheran. He is survived by: his wife Linda M. Ordway; his children, John, Janet McClain (Peter) of Alfred and Jeffrey Sootheran (Bethany) of Chiang Mai, Thailand; his grandchildren, Justin McClain, Micah McClain, Rebecca Sootheran, Elizabeth Sootheran and Benjamin Sootheran; and his sisters, Mary Beth Sootheran (John Dolan) of Wellsville and Margaret Lynne Sootheran (Kent Simmonds) of Decorah, IA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church (5 Rochambeau Ave, Andover, NY 14806).
