It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine I. Quant (Wellsville, New York), born in Scio, New York, who passed away on August 7, 2018, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse James H. Quant; her son-in-law John Barner; her sisters, Marion Argenta and Hazel Reeves; and also Floyd Fish.
She is survived by: her children, James Quant II of Wellsville, Thomas Quant (Angela) of Norwood, Bonnie Schettine (Jack) of Wellsville, Kathryn Quant Brownell of Wellsville, Marilyn Temple (Dennis) of Portland, OR. and Suzie Barner of Wellsville; and her grandchildren, Melissa Blake (Seth), Ryan Quant, Tisa Robbins (Derek), Tasha Schettine, Heather Francisco (Josh), Ron Schettine, Matthew Brownell (Teah), Brandon Carter (Christie), Bradley Carter (Kylie), Brianna Castelli (Jack), Emily Finnemore (Jared), Zachary Barner, Thomas Quant Jr., James Quant and Hunter Quant. She is also survived by 22 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
