It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol A. Erwin of Wellsville, New York, born in Wellsville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 27, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Wheeler and Margaret Hull Stevens; her siblings, Paul W. Stevens, Jr. and Patricia Louise Brown; her son-in-law James R. Stein; and her nephews, Matt Brown and Steve Brown.
She is survived by: her children, James P. Erwin (Tonia) of Cuba, Stephanie A. Stein of Wellsville and Roxanne P. Williams of Wellsville; her grandchildren, Jennifer Tillotson (James), Caryn Hand, Erik Stein (Missy), William Williams (Wendy), Lori Levitt (Trever), Steven Williams, Trenton Erwin, Hannah Erwin and Ethan Erwin; her sister-in-law Alice Stevens of Wellsville; and her nephews, Paul Stevens (Karen) of Arkport and Kal Brown of New York City. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
