It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Jean Amidon of Wellsville, New York, born in Wellsville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 4, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John K. Amidon and Ruth Easton Amidon; and her sister Delores D. Ackerman. She is survived by: her brothers, John Amidon (Carolyn) of Phoenix, AZ and David Amidon of Wellsville; her brother-in-law Robert Ackerman of Wellsville; and her nieces and nephews, Robert S. Ackerman of Olean, Thomas Ackerman (Dawn) of Fuquay-Varina, NC, David Ackerman of Gilbert, AZ, Joann Amidon of Phoenix, AZ, Jeneane Amidon of Phoenix, AZ and Dianna Ackerman of Wellsville.
