He was predeceased by: his father Walter G. Rix; and his brother Cecil D. Rix. He is survived by: his mother Linda L. Rix (Jackson); his daughters, Rachel Rix of Wellsville and Maegan Rix of Wellsville; his grandchildren, Madison "Maddi" Hall and Jaxson Spears; and his siblings, Walter Rix (Ellen) of Wellsville, Sophia Merry of Wellsville, Jeff Rix (Stacey) of Wellsville, Dena Helms (Jim) of Wellsville, Trina Babbit of Wellsville and Tracy Perkins of Scio. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
