We are sad to announce that on June 11, 2023, at the age of 90, Alan James Hanchett (Wellsville, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence G. Hanchett and Rhea Hanchett (Marsh); his wife Doris R. Wheat; and his siblings, Clarence G. Hanchett Jr. and Betty Jean Windus.
He is survived by: his children, Edward Hanchett (Sharon) of Pittsford and Pamela L. France of Wellsville; his grandchildren, Christopher Hanchett (Margaret) of East Rochester, Laura Cologgi (James) of Penfield, Ashley France of Wellsville and Jennifer France of Wellsville; and his close friend Nancy Blackman. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
