He was predeceased by: his parents, Delace Hoose and Louise Hoose (Miller); his wife Alice M. Hoose (Shoemaker); his son Jeffrey Hoose; and his siblings, Max, Elwin, Betty Jean, Gladys, Shirley and Marion.
He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Gray (Terrance) of Elmira, Sharen Gilbert of Pine City, NY and Marcella "Sam" Hoose of Gillett, PA; and his siblings, Kenny and Helen. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.
