It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Agresta (Wells, New York), born in Schenectady, New York, who passed away on May 16, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George W. Ginny and Emily Barrett Phelps Sr. Ginny; her husband Raymond "Pucky" Agresta; her children, Gina Agresta Barton and Daniel Agresta; and her siblings, George W. Phelps Jr., John, Roy, Guy, Thomas, William "Horse", Joseph Phelps, Rose Kwiatkowski and Inez Gibson.
She is survived by: her children, Ann Marie Agresta (Mark Bockus) of Rochester, NY and William Agresta (Kim); her grandsons, Jason of Amsterdam, Kyle of Amsterdam and Joshua Agresta of Amsterdam; her siblings, Shirley Bubniak of Amsterdam, Pete Phelps (Donna) of Amsterdam and Daniel Phelps (Ellen) of Ballston Spa, NY; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Jane Phelps, Sharon Agresta and Connie Dulysz.
