He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter D. Hedden and Stella T. Delesky Hedden; his wife Louise Dempsey; his sons, Robert P. Hedden, Jr. and Walter J. Hedden; and his brother Walter D. Hedden.
He is survived by: his daughter Mary (Eric Scheffield) of Binghamton, NY; and his brother Ronald (Sharon Hedden) of Clark's Green, PA. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
