Smithler of Weedsport, New York, born in Auburn, New York, who passed away on September 4, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl R. "Bob" Smithler and Audrey Wilson Smithler; his son Lonne Michael Smithler; and his sister Star. He is survived by: his wife Virginia "Ginny" Zimmerman Smithler; his children, Marci Lee Smithler and Edward R. Smithler (Stephanie); and his siblings, Lyle Smithler (Theresa), Scott Smithler (Sue), Georgie Speck (Al) and Lynn Smith (Dale). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the White Chapel Funeral Home (2719 Erie Dr, Weedsport, NY 13166).
