She was predeceased by: her parents, Byrne Hueber and Elizabeth Scott Hueber; her husband John L. Zimmer; and her son Brad L. Zimmer. She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Zimmer, Katherine Zimmer, Scott Zimmer (Averil) and Sean Zimmer (Francesca); her grandchildren, Kristin Turturo (Thomas), Sean Zimmer, Jared Zimmer, Chad Clements, Shane DiRisio, Gage DiRisio, Keagan DiRisio, Carson DiRisio, Matthew Zimmer, Alessandra Zimmer and Isabella Zimmer; and her great grandchild Benito Christiansen Turturo.
