He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Mark Maxwell and Ruth Ellen Fulkerson Maxwell; his daughter Brenda Diane Maxwell Smith; his brothers, Robert Maxwell (Ruth Ann), William Maxwell (Scott) and Jerry Maxwell (Kitty); and his grandson Samuel Ethan Downs.
He is survived by: his daughters, Gwendolynne Louise Maxwell (Tom) and Colleen Joy Conner; his grandchildren, Robert Travis Downs (Denise), Christopher Matthew Downs (Cheryl), Jennifer Rebecca Pannell (Todd), Angela Carter (Casey), Charles Thomas Wiederhold (Carly) and Caitlin Engelman (Matt); his great grandchildren, Taylor Nicole Downs and Jacob George Downs; and his siblings, Wilbur James Maxwell (Barbara), Melvin Wayne Maxwell (Susan) and Judy Ellen Maxwell Cavaliero (Tom).
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Willard H. Scott Funeral Home (12 South Ave, Webster, NY 14580). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
