She is survived by: her husband Gary K. K. Lum; her children, Zena Lum (Ben Smith) and Alden Lum (Janice); her grandchildren, Hannah, Eli, Dylan and Samantha; and her siblings, Lydia, David and Peter.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made in her memory to either Strong Memorial Hospital or to the Asian American Diabetes Initiative at Joslin Diabetes Center.
