He was predeceased by: his daughter Christine Dumont; his granddaughter Crysta Dumont; his parents, Cologero Trapani and Providenza Trapani; his siblings, Salvatore Trapani (Alfonsina), Joseph Trapani, Carolina Lubberts (Taeke) and Michelina DiRisio (Giulio); and his siblings-in-law, Peter Diliberto and Anna Trapani.
He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Prudence Trapani, Vincent Trapani, Anthony Trapani and Andrea Trapani; his grandchildren, Ashley, Johnny, Nadine, Brittany, Cassandra, Robert Jr. and Kaitlyn; his great grandchildren, T. J., Johnathan, Chloe, Jordan, Natalia, Seaonna, Stefan, Tayamarie, Lilly and Brandon; and his siblings, Maria Diliberto and Tony Trapani. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
