He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Doherty and James Doherty. He is survived by: his daughter Bridget Turkington (Tyler); his granddaughter Niamh; his close friend Kari Bittner; his siblings, Mary Theresa O'Keefe (Dennis), Michael Doherty (Debra), John Doherty (Christine), Charlene Doherty (Andrew Bennett), Margaret Heindl (Jerry Stickland) and Geraldine Doherty (Curtis Clegg); and also, Kacie Hackel (Sean) and Colby Bittner. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
