Though Melvin may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Melvin touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his wife Andrea; and his son Jeff Young. He is survived by: his children, Scott Young (Elizabeth), Melanie Palmer (Gregg) and Andrew Young (Terry); and his grandchildren, Kaitlin Sherman, Brenda Casserino (Dave) and Michael Young (Victoria). He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Willard H. Scott Funeral Home (12 South Ave, Webster, NY 14580).
