He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Berg and Rita McLaughlin Berg; his stepfather Joseph Gotelli; and his siblings, Dick and Shirley.
He is survived by: his significant other Ruth; his brother Dan (Betty); and his siblings-in-law, Kay and Harold B. Smith (Mary). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
