He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jan; his children, Dave Burgess (Amy), Doug Burgess and Patty Augeri (Joe); and his grandchildren, Amanda (AJ), Andrea (Sean), Jessica, Taylor (Sam), Sam, Rebecca (Aaron) and Samantha.
