He was predeceased by: his sister Calogera Salerno (Angelo); and his brother-in-law Giuseppe Milici. He is survived by: his wife Maria Mistretta (Pitti); his son Cataldo "Aldo"; his daughter-in-law Melanie Mistretta; his grandchildren, Julia and Gianni; his brother Santo; and his siblings-in-law, Pina, Salvatore, Nina Pitti, Antonina Milici and Giovanna Mungo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

My fondest memory that I will always cherish of Giuseppe is every time I would go visit he would always want to have a Limoncello shot after the wonderful lunch Maria would have ready. I, along with my husband Mario & mom Maria will miss him dearly. You are all in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.”
